I don't disagree. Facebook is a simple path of least resistance; "I could go split wood.... or I could get on facebook". It's just too easy; so in deleting it, you're removing a path of least resistance, and making it harder not to step up and do fun, productive, and inspired things. I'd say that's a noble goal, not one making me somehow inferior to the ascetic, iron-willed facebook monks, the ones limiting themselves to only the occasional log in.... the true master race, I bow before thee.
Actually, if anything, it sounds like those of you who maintain your facebooks almost as a testament to your iron wills are on the high horse. Let's face it, we all think we're right, and all strive to be better than other people by some measure; as our society seeks to quantify EVERYTHING. Why not step out of the loop and quit labeling people for doing things that don't concern you one bit? We all bleed red.
