Replying to Attention Australian skiers
so in most of the rockies this year there has been a huge increase in the snow snake population (Northern White snakes). Usually they're no problem whatsoever, but the climate this past year apparently made them reproduce a lot more. They are technically grey but it's so light that they blend it perfectly with snow which makes them just about invisible, especially with goggles on. They do have black diamond type of markings down their stomach but you rarely see that part anyways. Not aggressive at all but my friend was boarding early on in the day, on a run with lots of trees, and got bit right above his boot. Fuckin 2 days in the hospital. Just like some Aussie snakes they are pretty venemous, that is why ski patrol carries antivenom or has some in the hut. Watch out mates!
