Image sizes?

my photo's I uploaded are too big for NS in capacity size, just wondering if anybody knew how to make the picture smaller (not in size, pixels) on iPhoto for Mac computers.

as in you want to decrease the image quality but keep the same size? or decrease the size? I don't have a mac, but either way it should be very simple. I know photoshop it's as easy as image - image size - set to what you want. then when you save you pick your quality.
