Replying to Don't you just hate this??

So they're happy and cheerful all week. Lots of hand holding and love making... Then one morning you see them and somethings different. They seem distant and quiet. They analyze you as if they're determineing what they 'heard' is true or not... Or whether you have noticed their change in mood. So you ask what's wrong (being the gentlemen you are) and they reply:
'nothing' or 'im fine' or 'dont worry about it' or 'its okay' etc etc etc.
Now I've checked out the date and I know it's not time yet so what the fuck!!?
Any ladies help me out here!
Why the sudden change in mood and what should I do?
