Need help getting new skis

Alright so I need to replace some broken skis. I went to my local ski shop today and the owner was saying that he would hook me up with 2012 Armada Halos for $360, 2012 Salomon Suspect for $330, or some Line Afterbangs for $260. I am looking for a durable ski that is great on rails and can hold up on bigger jumps. Which one should I get?

yeah dude i am really leaning towards the halos. i have heard bad things about the durability of the suspects, but the dude was telling me that Salomon has a really good warranty. I was only considering the afterbangs because they are $250 which is a solid price.

if those are your only 3 options halos are by far the best choice

Go Halos, if you wanna hit rails it doesn't matter how good the warranty is no company will cover rail damage

I am 5'11... should i get the halos in 176 or 182? My old skis (volkl walls) were 177, and I liked the ways those felt, but I read that the halo rides really short so i'm not sure if i should get the 182.

Yeah go with the 182. You will regret not having the extra. They are rockered as well, so you wont feel it when riding it, and the the bit extra makes it easier to stomp.
