But we don't use powdered sugar, vegetable shortening or lemon with the pannukakku, and I've never seen one done in an actual frying pan, but it's a bit similar.

sauteed bananas

melted nutella

whipped cream

toasted slivered almonds

put bananas on crepe drizzle nutella, close, drizzle more nutella, whipped cream, sprinkle toasted almonds.

We used to make something that looked similar to this.

We just referred to them as baked pancakes because it's pretty much pancake batter, but you put butter in the center to keep the center from rising so the edges pop up the side of the pan.

We would make them and put apple crisp filling in them.



Aside from that.

1) Belgium Waffle
2) Texas Toast french toast
3) Crepe
4) Pancake

It's funny how americans don't know shit about pancakes.

1. Swedish/Scandinavian pancakes. Fucking delicous, usually eaten with whipped cream and strawberry jam. Not the same thing as crêpes.

2. Crêpes. Most usually eaten with nutella (à sucre), but can also have fries, steak, mushrooms, cheese and things like that on them. Thinner than pancakes.

3. "Thick pancake." Translated from Swedish. Like a normal pancake but big and thick and usually has pieces of pork in it. Also delicious.

as a scandinavian i would like to emphasize this.
The scandinavian ones are not eaten all together like the american ones, but one by one.
Eaten with jam, cream, syrup, chocolate, whatever u want

Yo I'm Gunna go with waffles. Waffles are so perfect for syrup they have like little fricken pods where were the syrup just chills and doesn't end up on the plate !

Try this, its life changing:

Preheat the waffle maker
Cup of pancake mix
2/3 cup of skim milk and add if needed, don't be shy
1 egg or egg white substitute
a little vegetable oil, whatever the box says
a scoop of chocolate protein. I currently just use the gnc chocolate from sams club, I recommend it.
After that is mixed up, add 2-4 scoops of peanut butter, I prefer crunchy and mix it up.

Makes 3-6 waffles. After 2 are done, add Chobani or great value brand fat free yogurt and make a sandwich out of it. Life Changing. Give the other 2 to your high buddy to make a sandwich.

Please follow up if you try it and like it. I make a lot of random munchie stuff

Chocolate chip pancakes with maple syrup butter and topped with warm maple syrup. Needless to say I have quite a sweettooth. Waffles are pretty sick too, but I prefer french toast and I've never really had crepes but i'd love to try

I tried something amazing the other day


Pancakes. With peanut butter. And nutella. with nuts. Kinda like a snickers bar

My knees couldn't stand up any more. My eyes rolled back and forth into my eye sockets while i moaned like tori black. The taste was just so overwhelming that i had to take breaks between the bites to keep my system going without an overload. The smoothness of the creamy peanut butter just drizzled a shower of paradise upon my tongue. The texture of the peanut butter with the soft pancake overwhelmed my brain. It. was. awesome.
