I'm going to start by saying, i dont expect help from any of you to get my money back but I am warning you not to deal with this guy.

About 2 months ago, I traded for a pair of TW hot dogger boots from him. I got the boots and they seemed ok, but my hill hadn't opened up yet, so i didn't get a chance to wear them at all. I also didnt take out the liners to check out the boot, which i definitely should have done. So i sent out everything I was supposed to send to him. In a couple weeks my mountain opened. I wore the boots one day, could land at all without severe pain. I let my brother try them on, he said he had the same issues and severely bruised his heel. I don't know a ton about full tilts so i didn't even notice the boot boards were missing. I had been riding on liners inside the shell and thats all. R-man had sold them without telling me about a buckle which took him a few weeks to send me a couple bucks for a new one. Now, i had resold the boots, figuring that they just didn't fit me. I had no idea that they were missing the boot boards, i was naive and the person i sold them to in formed me of the missing beds. I'm just trying to get this deal over with and get everyone squared away. R-man refuses to help resolve the situation or even admit to removing the boards. If you guys have any suggestions, or anything that can help me i would appreciate it.

sooooooooooo heres the deal! actually i sent the boots in perfect workin condition, boot boards included etc etc. 2 weeks later the kid who made this thread hit me up and said hey the buckles broken, and even though it wasnt when i sent it i sent him money to pay for the new part, even though it wasnt my responsibility. I also included an extra set of tongues for the boots that i traded off which was something else i didnt need to do, just figured since he NEEDED the wally doggers so bad i could trade him and hook it up a bit as well. Anyways after all of this has gone on, its been about 3 months, he hits me up the other days and claims the boots he sold to another kid didnt have footbeds, welp, i sent them and in those 3 months theres quite a bitt of time.. just sayin. Kinda shitty to be a good member on here, deal with kids that cant get, handle, or keep their shit in line, and then have this happen.

if y'all go back to his threads too i didnt barter for all of that stuff, he needed those boots i guess and made a thread saying hed trade it all for em! and even with that offer i still turned down a few items cause im not trying to take advantage of kids on here! also the few things of that bunch which i actually ended up selling, the kids who bought it got hooked up!

r-mans my brother, he sent the boots in fully working condition. sammy wanted em so bad so he traded all that stuff, and he offered all of it. read the thread about how sammy wanted the boots, all r-man did was give them to him. If sammy didnt think the trade was fair he shouldnt have made it, and shouldnt make a callout 3 months later after hes used the boots more times saying that theyre all fucked up. my 2 cents. i say that shits done with, buckle got replaced, dont know why anyone would take out footbeds or whatever, my brother sure as hell didnt. check feedback and shit. r-man is ligit

Post conversation. One of you say the buckle was defective right away and the other says it broke 2 weeks later. I'd like to see how that was handled. If you got money back for a buckle that broke AFTER the sale that seems pretty cool of the guy. I also don't understand why he would even take the boards out. Seems strange. Post complete conversation.

thats what i was thinking. 3 months is a long ass time. and i feel like if you were landing jumps and your heels were killing you you might inspect the boot and actually take out the liner, call me crazy but that what i would've done.

I mean, I rode them 2 times on my hill. That's it. I bought them 2 months before my hill opened. the buckle was broken and he did replace it. I just want the boot boards....I dont even want the money sent to me. just the kid who has the full tilts now. or you can buy them and send them to him. I got boots that weren't functional....

I have no problem with the trade, as long as the boot boards were in there. and they aren't. im not doing any sketchy business. just trying to get damn boot boards for the other member so i don't owe him money.... for boots that should be working fine.

I was told that full tilts didnt have heelbeds which i thought was absurd! and i had no idea that they were supposed to have a footboard or whatever. thats why i sold them and bought a size 27.5. because i thought they hurt me because they were the wrong size....

Other member Vr8 has filed a paypal dispute, and R-Man has stopped responding all together. Dont buy from this guy. He'll sell you gear that isnt ride able. So unbelievably pissed, thats money i dont have.

Okay first of all based on all Logic, who removed footbeds from a pair of full tilts before they sell them?

Like what kind of personal gain do you get from a pair of footbeds, its not like he's going to slip them into a pair of SPKs or his Nike 6.0 Hightops.

Secondly, sammyd23, you had quite a nice callout thread so there goes quite a bit of credibility out the window right off the bat. and by making this 3 months after the fact you make yourself seem even more sketchy.

Next on the agenda we got R-Man, who seems to have good feedback, and kept his part of the deal, even left feedback for you after the transaction happens. What kind of scammer leaves feedback on someone they scammed?

First off, I have no idea why he would remove them. How am i supposed to answer that question, all i know is that they are not in the boot.....I had no idea i was missing a piece to the boot, i just thought they didnt fit right.

Secondly, i didnt ride the boots until a few months after getting them and attempting to ride them and then i was talking to r-man about the issue for about a month. so... not sketchy.

I just figured thats how they fit, how am i supposed to know i needed to research them.

The other member needs them asap and there is only 1 person left with his size and they only have them for $50 shipped to his area. so you, get learned and shut the fuck up, you arent even involved.

Sorry the boot boards are missing that sucks, he didnt take them out and thats that. If people were worried or gave a fuck they would have agreed with you, but they didnt. and it was damn useless to just bump this because anyone who can read or has common sense can check feedback for both of you and tell if hes bad to work with or if you are. Not saying your bad to work with by any means, but r-man didnt do shit wrong so stop trying to make a big deal about it. this shit happened months ago and if you had a problem you should have brought it to his attention when you got the boots, not after you sold them to someone else.

r-man is a legit seller. i bought 2 custom sweatshirts from him fine. i couldn't see him, or anyone taking out the boot boards. and three months after is pretty dumb if you ask me, you should have checked them right when you got them. and done some research on ft's
