Customizing full tilts

i bought some FT's from my friend at the beginning of the winter. he had spray painted them the winter before and now the paint is starting to peel and my boots look like garbage. instead of painting them the same colors, what cool things has NS done to their FT's?

Ya know what the funny part is? I went through all the trouble of taping off the FT logo and the other white toe piece and as soon as I put them in the boiling water, the tape came right off. I wanted to keep those parts white but just said fuck it and when I pulled them out a few hours later, they just turned a light shade of gray. Kinda weird, but totally cool with me.

BTW, I used powder RIT dye in case that wasn't mentioned anywhere in this thread.

If you are to dye the body black and want to keep the white FT like the first guy. my suggestion is to put hot glue over it and peel it up once you are done dying it.

i spray painted these and it's all cracked to shit right now and i've only done 2 summer sashes. should have dyed them. probs gonna buy some white tongues 6 flex in the next few weeks

so you figured out how to not dye the white writing back by the heels, the white nose area, and the ft symbol? i mean, hot glue would work for the front and the ft symbol, but that back writing? that would be impossible!

Ya know, I actually taped off the logo and the top of the toe box and as soon as I put the boots in the dye, the tape fell off so I just said screw it. Five hours later, to my surprise, the shells were black but the white only turned to a light gray color.

like with dying lacrosse stick heads, if you put electrical tape over part of it, the part under the tape won't get dyed. so thats one way that it could be done

obviously it works well for the white spks and is only good for changing it to one solid color, but you can cover parts to keep the white and make sick designs, like the NS and lightning bolts

i wanted hot doggers but feet didnt fit right in the hot doggers so i bought the booters and with the money i saved i bought 2 cable covers i got scamed on the red one but the blue one showed up and i think it looks pretty dope

If anyone saw the next years orange and white drop kicks, I have them. I'm planning on getting a white 4 tongue and just having an all white boot. I think it will look sick. Don't give a shit what other people think haha
