How do i succesfully put a sticker on my helmet clean with no giant creases or air bubbles....all my stickers look like shit cuz they have a giant crease through the middle because i dont know how to put on stickers smooth.
dont just stick them straight on, start at one side and lay it down, if there are bubbles then take a credit card or something and try to scrape them out to the outside.
start from one corner, slowly edge the rest on. if you start to get creases, back up a little (peel it off a little) and then kinda push it and press it until its right. its kinda a learned technique
this. try to pick low curvature areas of your helmet to put stickers and your less likely to get creases. if you do want to do high curvature areas such as the roll off for the back of the head, cut it into horizontal strips and apply then. i have found decals a lot less likely to crease than stickers. also cutting away as much of the white space of the stickers/ unused decal area helps to get it right. if you do end up with air bubbles pop them with a pin and stick down and if your still having problems after this hair dryer it for a little bit and stick it down. im pretty sure i saw another thread on this a while back so i would try using the searchbar as im sure there was more good advice in the other thread.
exactly what I do. I smooth it down with a credit card after always. Also I just suggest doing it very slowly, take your time because its a sticker job not your math homework.
