I think her point is that she's not trying to conform to being skinny like most others in her industry. The typical person on the cover of Vogue is super skinny. She managed to be on the cover of Vogue without fitting into that criteria.

And to the kid who said she's not that good....if you think she's not talented, you're just being a hater. Can you sing like her?

This. I kind of have less respect for her after that though. I think that anyone who "wants" to be fat is being just as bad as a role model as someone who preaches that being unhealthily skinny is a good thing. Especially someone who is as famous as her. and to hoodratz you may not enjoy her music but it's not bad, I bet you don't know one person with a voice like Adele's.

She said one thing and did another, I filed it under woman logic because fame fortune idolism beauty trumps inherent values or statements.

Anyway, I don't care for her music at all, but at least she writes most of her stuff instead of being just a voice.

Most likely after she made that statement vogue got a hold of her and wanted her to be on there magazine.
