Anyone else read this book?

HOLY FUCK IT"S GOOD. I've never felt so close to a character or set of characters. Very well written.

I just finished book 1, and will be starting book 2 this week hopefully.




Also, super stoked for the movie.






Don't spoil the other books for me.

Yea I'm like halfway through the second one, such a good series. I wish their was more, but I suppose it's a good thing, i dont want it to be dragged out like so many other good movies have.

Yah dude these books are amazing. I read the first two in like 3 days. I highly doubt the movie(s) will exceed my expectations just because the books are so amazing, but nevertheless I am excited to watch. And just how savage is the whole concept?!? Teenagers just getting tossed into an arena and being expected to murk each other. Damn The Hunger Games really gets my blood flowin.

never read books ever...

Thanksgiving 2010 my Aunt Uncle and cousins came to my moms house. Apparently my aunt was reading the book out loud (they had a 4 hr drive) in the car because it was so fucking good.

I started to read it and finished the third book before december. Shit was so good. Can not wait for the movie.

Only thing that displeases me. I fucking hate the kid that's playing Peeta in the movie. I don't like him as an actor, he's not good and i don't like him.

Second, I saw Rue as a skinny white child with blue eyes and shit. So the movie will not meet my expectations. But i'm still stoked.



Also, this book was based off Battle Royal, where in Japan they throw like 61 kids to fight to the death.

The hunger games is way better IMO.

I just really like how it flowed, I've never been so close, in so much detail with the characters.

So I picked this book up yesterday. Started reading it at midnight and went to bed at 7... Then I finished it when I got up. Pretty solid and it was a nice quick read. Hoping to pick up the other two at some point.
