Alright so i'm a pretty objective guy. I like to believe in proven facts and if given the choice between subscribing to conspiracy theories and well-reasoned arguments I would, as a rule, take the latter. That being said i am staunchly anti-conspiracy in any regard. This has now been somewhat shaken.
I live in Halifax, NS Canada and about a week ago while walking to Tim Hortons for my morning Joe I was stopped in my tracks by this godawful, unearthly groan that just sort of filled the atmosphere around me. I don't really know how to describe this sound. It had no discernable source, it kind of passed through me like a heavy bass would, filling your chest. The sound of it raised the hairs on my neck. People around me noticed it too, stopping and looking around. My immediate reaction was to look up as if an airliner were passing overhead. This sound can only be described like someone cranking the feedback on a bass amp on and off in odd, irregular lengths and intervals. but far louder and much deeper. I got my coffee, came out, and it was still going on. I stood there listening for ten minutes before it sort of faded off. I kind of let it slide the last couple days, i've asked some people if they heard it. Most haven't, some have.
SO this morning I log onto my homepage and what do I see? This video posted, apparantly depicting loud noises being heard everywhere. I've just watched it and am now im fucking shock. Some of the noises arent quite the same but some of them match exactly what I heard here in Halifax. I'll post the link below. My question: Has anybody out there in NSG heard anything remotely like this? Am I going fucking crazy or can somebody else corroborate? Any thoughts, theories, ideas? I like the idea that it might be some kind of intense marketing ploy for an upcoming game or movie playing on 2012 fears or something but seriously? Not much goes on in Halifax Canada. Why here?
