yea jonas (lane meyers) has to be the cleverest by far... and yea... you don't have to be good at english to be wise. Reading a thesoris might help you to spell better and definitely makes it easier to get a more specific point accross. but it doesnt' help you come up with orriginal ideas, or teach you to think for yourself.

how does one apply to be a member of the Dragon's Lair? I messaged GhostDragon a while back, and I have heard no reply from him. Also, about the IQ thing mentioned above. IQ doesn't measure intelligence. IQ is a highly subjective test, and somebody who isn't smart but knows how to take a test well could do good on it and therefore could have a high IQ. It really isn't a way of measuring intelligence, because there is no way of measuring intelligence, since there are so many other types of intelligence. Just my two cents.

I've seen a few who posted things that sound intelligent to get invited... No one should change the way they think to get in some cult. If you're not cut out for it, you're not. I'm of modest intelligence, I don't try to make nice sentences, but I don't use abreviations and try to do the least typos possible.
But about being open-minded... I can respect other opinions, but if they're exactly the opposite of mine, I'll post to say what I think but not in an accusing way. Yeah, I've called a few people idiots, but only because they merited it (in my opinion, stay open-minded). If I can be accepted in to the DL, then anybody can. I am by far the weakest member. But the purpose of the cult isn't to be the supreme minds of NS, it's just a place to discuss topics without pointless replies. The cult comes off as being a bit 'elitist' because of the selection process, but that is basically a test to see if you can apply yourself to a topic and give valid reasons to back up your views.
