I have JJs which I will take out in any ammount of powder but I'm looking for a second ski for every other day. It must be able to handle a shitload of bumps and preferably something that doesn't get squirrely charging groomers but I really want a flexy buttery ski to mess around on. There will always be some crud slush ice and variable snow it has to handle. I don't do too many rails but I need something with a low swing weight for spins. I so far am thinking either blends of fujas but whatever else too.
Most "flexy, buttery" skis are gonna chatter charging the groomers, and bounce like fuck in the chop. I remember my Moment Rockers in the chopped up, crusty shit and I was like holy cow they don't truck at all, just bounce and skid around everywhere. You kind of have to decide one way or the other, or meet in the middle and work harder to butter.
Armada ar7 or line chronic, may be a little to stiff but I can still butter them fine, both are quality durable skis, both with cut through the variable handle the groomers and perform in the park
Armada ARV. They're really soft/fun to play around on and surprisingly stable at speed. Used em as my every day ski all last winter and there's really nothing that ski can't handle.
