Why does everyone think switch nollies are something special, you pop off your tips going switch, it's just like an ollie going forwards. Switch ollies are where it's at.

It doesnt. Switch nollie is fakie ollie. There is no such thing as a switch nollie. If you are going to steal skateboarding terms at least get it right.

a switch nollie would be(or atleast should be) when you pop off of your tails while riding backwards.
That is like saying a switch ollie is a fakie nollie in skateboarding.

I'm a snowboarder and a skateboarder and I know both of those have "fakie" and cabellarials I know skiing could adopt fakie. why don't you guys. Like instead of switch nollie cork three you could say corked full cab. It covers all the bases the 360 the fakie and the cork. Do any of you guys say fakie?

lulz at the skateboarding terms. this is skiing, you can't use fakie in the same way you do skating. fakie is backwards, it's possible on skis to fakie nollie. we stand forwards, not sideways.

fakie nollie is a double negative or like dividing by zero there is just no such thing.

and it shouldn't matter if you guys stand forward or sideways.

you have the term nollie, and ollie, and switch, why not use fakie, or popping of your heels while moving switch therefore if you pop of your heels while riding switch and spin 270 onto a rail why say i just did a switch nollie 270 on when you can say I did a fakie 270 on.

It makes sense to me but then again I am a snowboarder and a skateboarder so I can't have too much say in this argument. Just my 2 cents.

Agreed. Again, if you are gonna steal skate terms like nollie and ollie, follow skate terms for other versions of the trick too. Switch nollie just sounds gaper-ey, like the kids at the skatepark doing "switch fakie half cabs".


Switch nollie = fakie.
