In one of the threads about the death of our beloved fellow freeskiers, Sarah Burke, NSer --Evan suggested that there should be an annual "NewSchoolers holiday" that is designated for skiing in remembrance of one of freeskiing's most innovative and inspirational skiers. I think this would be a fantastic idea. As the NS community, the 3rd Saturday of every January would be designated to ski in honor of Burke, and the influence she had on our sport. A day to remember not only her, but also the many other pioneers of skiing. Thoughts?
