So is this one of those sales that travel the country with products that companies don't wish to sell for whatever reason?

Just wondering, I am not going because this weekend is shaping up to be one of the better ski weekends from the looks of it. That and I am on the other side of Toronto with no vehicle.

pretty bad if you ask me, corbetts had last seasons' for like 200 bucks a while ago. Skis and bikes is a rip

The difference is that all skis at this are all this years skis, brand new with bindings. On backcountry, those skis are 500 flat, no bindings. 520 with bindings doesn't seem so bad if you ask me.

Skiis and Biikes is for sure more race orientated but they are trying to get into the park scene, every year they hire more and more park guys, they bring more park equipment, and try to understand you park rats.

They might not be "core" but they're trying to help out the local ski community, which in ontario, is unlike any community in the world.

Give it a look, you guys might be surprised.

Skis and bikes blows. A few years back I bought bindings and skis seperately, and took them to skis and bikes to have them mounted. I emphasized to the shop tech that I wanted my skis mounted at TRUE CENTER (probably told him 4 or times in our conversation). When I came to pick my skis up they looked a little off. I took them home and measured them, and to my belief they were off. However they were not just mounted off from center, they were fucking mounted about 1cm PAST CENTER. I took my skis back and calmly tried to reason with the owner/manager (can't remember if he was the manager or the owner, but he's the 50ish year old looking guy who's frequently around the store), and after about 30 minutes of discussion with the manager/owner he ended up offering me nothing more than a gift certificate and re-mounting my skis. I reluctantly took the offer because it was clear the manager/owner wasn't going to take responsibility for his shops mistake and replace my skis (like any reputable shop would). They remounted my skis properly, but later that season I broke one of the heel pieces on my skis. Since my skis had been mounted twice at that point I couldn't find any shop who would mount my skis for a third time (shops have a policy against mounting skis 3 times for some reason), and my near perfect condition skis became unusable.
