How does one get from Denver airport to Breckenridge by oneself?

Hi there!

So, us lads i Dedicated Pictures are traveling across the pond to go hard on terrain parks in CO. Most of the guys flew over on Tuesday, but I (the filmer) am not leaving before Saturday.

Therefor, I have a bit of a problem. How do I get from Denver to Breckenridge, when ordering a shuttle isn't an option?

I know you said shuttle isn't an option but they have a good service for 45 bucks you can get from dia to breck. Which will be much cheaper than a taxi. here's a link


also I have hitchhiked in colorado a good amount you can get to the mountains pretty easy that way. find some kids looking your age at the airport or on your flight see where they're going if they can't take you up the mountains. or closer towards the mountains then hang out at a gas station put on a big smile and see if yo ucan't get a ride from someone headed your way.

I'd offer my help but I won't be back in colorado for another three weeks.

there is ride share a carpool site that helps you find someone who is going your way and can give you a ride. I did this once in high school and i just gave the guy some money for gas, and I got lucky and we both had buds on us so we got baked the whole way up. here's a link


you can also try craigslist and make a post and see if anyone can give you a ride from dia to summit county.

Taxi is always an option.

shuttle is honestly the best option, ive done it for 50 bucks several times... unless you feel safe hitch hicking, ive given a random dude a ride when my cousin picked me up once, but he still paid us 40 bucks

Search around once you get to the airport, all the shuttles park near each other round the exit. There are some cheaper then others.

If you, stick that thumb in the air and hope you don't get picked up by a cold blooded killer.

A friend of my dad got picked up by a serial rapist/killer in Canada once, barely got away.. Sketchy as hell.

Holy shit I can fly from Boston to Denver for $104. Then I'll take the shuttle to Breck! I'm 17, is there any actual legitimate way I could do this?

Oh yes I know that, thats the problem. I can afford lift tickets, but about staying somewhere is the part I have no clue about.

rent a cheapy car and charge everyone to go to keystone and abasin, you dont want to go to breck everyday specailly not saturday. the vail park is pretty cool too.
CME is owned by vail=$$$
there are several new shuttle options that are less

go to baggage claim where everyone gets their skis. then just ask someone who's going to summit county for a ride.

Summit express is your cheapest shuttle option, $49 bucks.


Or you could be retarded like my friends and try to save 20 bucks and go bus from DIA to denver bus station, then greyhound from denver to frisco, then take the summit stage to breck.
