Banshee bungee

Hey guys I recently got a 10 ft bungee package and took it out for the first time yesterday. I anchored one end to a pole near our feature and we stretched the bungee to about 20 ft at that distance we where sliding backwards on the snow. Is there a proper way to pull back and realese so one could increase the speed+ k for helpfull answers

You were sliding back on the snow as in you couldn't pull it any further? Either get more people to pull the thing back, or check out banshee bungee's site and look at the quick release lead line.
