I just want to edit(cuta bit of the vid )one clip i took with my GoPro and windows movie maker cant handle HD video so is there any free downloadable editting for HD vid software i can download?

Next time check the searchbar. I cannot tell you home many threads i have seen on this. Download free trials if you only need it for this edit. Pinnacle, adobe elements, imovie, ect.

sony vegas is fairly inexpensive, I used to work with premiere pro and it really isnt soooooo far away

Mac= Imovie or whatever
PC=Windows movie maker.
Both great functional editing things that come free or can be downloaded free depending on which of the two processors you have.
