I have come to you with an urgent issue at hand. Over the course of my life I have grown up in a small town that was surrounded by beautiful forests and rolling hills as far as the eyes can see.
The time has come that these wonders of nature are going to be put to test as a logging company is coming in with intentions of clear-cutting a large portion of our forest. This is a way bigger deal than most would assume, as a substantial portion of our towns income and consequentially livelihood is built upon the recreational communities of tourists who fish, mtn bike, hike and golf in our town. Imagine hiking and mtn biking through sections of clear-cut. Not what you want to travel across the world and see?
Without our forests no one will come and enjoy the beauty of this town, without tourists the town cannot survive.
