homosexuality is fucked up and obviously not natural, but seriously, who the fuck cares. as long as they dont wander around and hit on straight people and make life awkward for everyone, it really has no impact on my life at all. they're people too, so who gives a fuck what they put in their mouths at night.

my gay neighbours got married a few years ago, totally legit. i never understood though, why was it such a big deal? b/c marriage is a religious thing and the bible prefers heteros?

You gotta do it when the time feels right but it's so much better honestly. Didn't even bother me that I got shit from some people. It's just a huge fucking relief. It's intensely exciting too.


It's just that next step that's worth taking eventually. Doesn't have to be now or anytime soon, but it really is so worth it.

The fact that America hasn't embraced gay marriage on a federal level is ridiculous. It doesn't matter what your stupid religion says. This country was founded on a separation between church and state in order to keep the religious nuts from controlling our laws. Christians don't have to allow gay couples to have their wedding receptions at churches, but the state should HAVE to grant gays marriage rights under the equal protection clause.

Also, homosexuality is completely natural. It is found among many species in the natural world and that includes ours. Scientific study and inquiry has revealed that being gay isn't just a life style choice, but it is the way someone is born.

Just check out this dude. Raised by 2 lesbians and is as straight, and as successful as you can get.

Got 0 problems with gays and 0 problems with them raising kids. But i think they should be able to be in a legal partnership not "married" cause the origin of the word means with intention to make children so it just doesn't seem right

I see what's natural as whatever comes naturally to someone.  Did you naturally like girls or have to decide?  Some dudes naturally like guys.  I don't see anything unnatural about someone's sexual attraction to someone else and it's the very notion of "since it's not like you or I then it's not natural" that allows the bigotry a foothold in our minds. 

That video was rough.  Makes me want to buy all my gay friends a round tonight.  I have a lot of respect for them despite what others might have to say about their "unnatural behavior", it takes balls to come out and be proud of who you are when it's such a touchy subject with so many.  I give mad props to anyone who's an out gay, as there's no telling who in their job/friends/family will have horrible things to say about it and what the implications may be.  I've seen first hand the damage that can do to a person and the hurt and even chemical dependency it can lead to.

Not harping on you specifically and def no hate as I don't think you're a bigoted person but I just wanted to get that out there.

its very natural. its just not a good mutation. Its like an otherwise normal/healthy human born without good reproductive function - doesnt affect me on bit at all. If anything, gay dudes are awesome. there is less competition for females, and they tend to have a bunch of girlfriends who do like dick...my dick.

I think you're hung up on a common misconception. A lot of people hear "survival of the fittest" and think of individual competition. But evolution doesn't occur in individuals, it only occurs in populations. Take bees for example. If you were to observe a hive what would you see? Thousands of bees, none of them engaging in sexual behavior, none of them reproducing- except for one, the queen. Would you say that the 99.99% of the bees are not fit and therefore their existence is an anomaly? Of course not. In fact it might help to just throw the word fit out of the window. It's very misleading and "survival of the fittest" was coined by a crazy ass nut of a sociologist who had nothing to do with biological evolutionary theory.

Homosexuality and homosexual behavior isn't something that only human beings exhibit. Many different species of Animals also exhibit homosexual behavior, such as: Penguins, Black Swans, Mallards, Giraffes, Spotted Hyenas, Elephants, certain species of monkeys, sheep, and Lions, to name a few.


How can you say it's fucked up and not natural if so many species in the Animal kingdom also exhibit the same homosexual behavior as humans do?

of course i dont understand. i don't understand what goes on in the head of a mentally retarded person either. they're born with a defect and have to deal with it. that doesn't make it any less unnatural. it's hardly grounds for hate or intolerance, of course, but i'm simply stating that it isn't in sync with how human beings were created.

the fucked up part of that is how something like homosexuality can also be a psychosis. you aren't necessarily born attracted to the same sex, much like people aren't born with depression. your brain gets fucked up somewhere along the way. the same could be said of homosexuality. when some series of events in your life alter the way your brain functions, i'd say that's fucked up.

who cares, any way. it's not about whether or not being a homosexual is natural or not. great, so youre gay. i dont really care. neither should society.

difference is, animals do it for pleasure. we do it because our brains are convinced that we're attracted to the same gender. you might see a male lion bangin another male lion, but when it comes time to reproduce, he knows that he needs to fuck a chick to make babies, and he's gonna do it.

Honestly just to put things into context for some people, this is what I have gone through from being openly gay, in the state of virginia.



-Kicked off the football team, by being jumped by 14 players
-kicked out of 2 churches for being openly gay
-beaten/jumped weekly. literally.
-kicked out of my own home for an entire summer, forcing me to live in a park in the city
-called "fag" to my face, or told I'm going to hell, literally every single day.
-constantly outcasted or hated by highschoolers
-had 4 death threats since I moved here
-blocked phone calls periodically telling me that I deserve to die
-etc.




I don't want to be all whiny or anything or "look how bad my life is, give me sympathy", but this is the reality of how this affects me.

I wasn't offended, i took it as a joke, but then later when he said he was gay, and we were talking about equality, it seemed a bit douche-like to put women down. I am all for gay rights, i in no way consider them 2nd class citizens. I believe EVERYONE is equal, including women, that's all.

i agree with every word of this. it's a defect, it is not natural, ya you can say it people have certain hormones or what not but it still is not natural, just like it't not natural to have mental problems. don't really see how you can argue it.
