First PHAT ROCKER Skis? 1930's? Look at picture of in KLAUS video

The picture of the skis is at 6:15 during the KLAUS episode 1 amaze me.  Pause the video and look at those skis that the guy in the middle is rocking.  I wonder who made them.  Gotta be the earliest rocker I've ever seen.  Has anyone ever seen another picture of an early phat ski?  This picture has got to be 1930's or 40's.  That Dude is smiling cuz he knows what took the rest of us 50 more years to learn.

not really a true rocker,but i guess you can look at it in a way where those skis he mentions where his tips are tied to his knees that would create a semi rockered ski....

but not real rocker as we know today

It looks to me like there is early rise to that bad boy.  Plus.... I don't think I've ever seen that phat of a wooden ski ever.

Yeah True.... But that isn't the point.  That dude is rocking a true pow ski while his friends are on skinny stix.  I think it is very cool.  He's dusting them, but as with old wood skis the bases were gnar.

what the fuck did i just watch? i can deal with henrik and phil saying yes sir into a camera for a couple minutes before feeling suicidal, but 6 minutes of i gat a zero g feeling makes me just want to... fuck.. i dont know...that was just terrible. klaus is the man to.

Does any one have any old vintage ski pictures of someone skiing on Barrel Staves?  The old timers talk about it but I haven't seen it.  Short Rockers.

Exactly my thoughts. What the fuck was that. Klaus is such a great and interesting person and everything he did and achieved in his live is very sick but that edit did not honour him in any way. That edit was awful!

Okay, If you don't get the Zero G feeling than you can watch all the other plain interviews with Klaus.  BUT... trust me Klaus gets it.  Watch it again and put on some good speakers... it's a remix.

1. It is legitimate "rocker". Doesn't need any in the tail to count.

Barrel staves are mini rockers, but those skis at 06:15 are MAAAD vintage long fat boards with early rise.
