First trick for boxes and moving on to rails tips?
So my last post was asking about sliding boxes and rails well i spent the last weekend skiing ad spent a good amount of time in the park. I ended up getting boxes down i can hit every one in the park now no problem. Now im looking for some tips on first tricks to try on the boxes and how to start trying them as well as how to move on to rails because i started attempting rails and i cant seem to get centered and so end up jumping at them from the right side and hitting it then sliding off the left side before i evenget balanced. So any help would be appreciated because i really dont have anyone at my hill to help me. 90% of the peopl at the park are boarders who suck at park and then out of the few skiers that are there ive only seen 2 out of the like 10 total ive seen since the season has opened actually doing anything better than simply sliding boxes like me. Thanks in advance
on rails (handrails) come on from the side at an angle, jump and turn 90 on, lean a little to counter the angle, keep shoulders square, feet shoulder width apart, and watch the end of the rail. Believe that you can and will slide to the end. If you don't think you'll get it, you probably won't. Also, speed is the most important thing. faster is easier. Watch a lot of ski edits and copy what they do.
Make sure when you get on the rail you look down at the end of it. It will keep you moving in that direction. Make sure you are moving at a decent speed as well, and you will slide a lot better, and be more balanced.
