alright NS need some help. So i got boots but i recently lost a ton of weight so my feet got smaller. MY boots are as tight as they go and heels lift up. the boots are also making my skis feel all sloppy, but the problem is neither my parents nor I can afford to buy new boots right now. Is there anything I can do without getting new boots? +k to helpful answers.
your local bootfitter should have some L shaped pads that they can put on each side of your liner to go around your ankle bones. these will help your heel from lifing up. i have flat feet and need to put these in all my liners
go to the shop u bought the boots at, tell them your problem, and they will most likely put shims in your boots, and/or put J-pads around the heel to help keep your heel locked into place, and the shim (depending on thickness) wil raise your foot up in the shell (round shell, the higher up the shorter/narrower) will keep your foot from sliding around
this. go to the shop where you bought them and explain the issues you are having and they can add extra padding and stuff and possibly a footbed. which boots are you in? have you considered moving/moved the buckle notches as you can get a lot more tightening down by moving them and changing the micro adjusters if your boots have them.
they are atomic something or another. four micro buckles and there wide fit. i spun the micro adjusters as much was i can and they are on the last notch. still not tight enough. ill tale them to the local shop and see what i can do thanks guys! and i know i need new boots its just not possible right now.
