So what's the name of the new grab?

Quick question for people who are in the know, what are kids calling the tweaked safety grab that's the hot fya right now? Is it a method grab, or do we have another name?

Figured I'd ask because I see it all the time now and I don't know what to call it.

Both lobster and method sound good! Lobster is original so i think it should be called a lobster spread the word

You're right bro, freeskiing is totally on the decline because people are doing new things and we're coming up with names for them. We should stick with the same tricks and names that everyone was doing in '05.

I have to say, when I started skiing, we called them Indy grabs due to boarding. When we first heard "No, they're safety grabs" we were like "What? That sounds fucking stupid."

i think that if it would be a tweaked saftey it would have been grabbed right under the boot. but this grab is more of a tweaked getto grab with both feets thight and knees almost together.

but people does them differently.

That one is grabbed infront of the foot and therefore it should not be an tweaked saftey (saftey is grabbed straight under the boot)..

If we had a name for every tweak then nobody would ever know what the grabs are called.
Just a safety grab. The way I see it you have your basic grabs like safety, mute, true tail, nose, japan, and then you add some tweaks or bone it out for some extra flava.
