Replying to Cold temps and forward pressure
So, last night i was at the mountain and it was about 5* f. and my skis were pre-releasing like crazy. like they would fall off when doing a switchup. so i looked at the indicator on the side of the heel piece and saw it was way off from what i set it at. so i tightened it to where it should be. but today i snapped my boots in and the indicator was wayy to high. so i put it back to where i had it set when it was pre releasing and the indicator was in the right place.
i feel like the reason it happened was because the boot contracted from the cold weather, then expanded in my house.
has anyone else had this problem and is it even possible that it happens? and what should i do about it. (i have rossi SAS 110 bindings btw)
