Creative ski repairs!

So basically I recently had to get creative with fixing my skis because this happened to one of my tails...

So a friend and I decided the best way to repair this was to put a nail through the tail, bend it up, and tie a string from the nail to the binding! Shit works great, pic of said fixings...

That way the string pulls the tail up so it doesn't catch on shit.

Anyone else done some creative repairs?

when i blew out the edge on my moments, the put nails into my ski in the place of and edge and sent it back. Ill get pics up later

My suspects's edges went completely off from the ski. So there was no edge at all for 15cm. I improvised and i found my 120cm long atomic skis i used to ski when i was little. So i cutted the edge from the atomics and moved it to the suspects. Suspecte's edges are a joke.

Oh, and i attached it t to the ski with glue and 9 pop rivets. It has worked like a new one so far. So any time the edge cracks again, i could get another edge piece from my old atomics and move it to suspect. Problem solved!!

delaminated tip from crashing into a rail, i filled it up with epoxy and put 3 bolts through the tips :)
almost 3years later and i still have those skis and they're still in quite good condition ...

to even out the looks of both skis i also put bolts through the other ski, it liiks quite sick now, a bit like the rivets you see on the k2s :)
