Photo 1 - Skiing Shot
I recently got a DSLR to start filming and taking pictures. Mainly when I take my camera up to the mountain, I film, and don't take as many pictures. I forgot my steadicam this day, so I decided to try taking some pictures instead. I took a bunch on this day, but I really like how I framed this shot, it just works really well to me. I wish I could have taken pictures of a powder skier or something out of the park, but sadly, I have yet to go up on a powder day, even in Colorado.

I actually took this shot quite a while ago, with my dad's camera. I have this nice cliff that is nestled in the valley behind my house, and it's pretty much at the top of a small mountain. We took a hike up there back in September so I could experiment with a camera (this was when I really became intrigued by photography), and I ended up taking some pictures on the way up, a panorama at the top, and some wide shots of the hills and mountains that I live in. I was hiking around the cliff when I noticed how awesome the lighting and angle was, so I snapped this shot of my friend standing on the edge.
Photo 3 - Home
I took this picture from my front porch. My home has and always will be in the mountains. I love being surrounded by nature and being able to explore the world around me by just stepping out the door. This was one of the first shots I took when I got my camera, but I really like the detail that I got from the car lights.
Photo 4 - Random
I went up to Breckenridge with my friend, who has a condo up there. Luckily, his condo is literally at the base of Peak 8, so I can walk out of the building and be on the slopes. We went out at night and spent an hour or two each night just taking pictures. I took a couple timelapses, but also focused on exploring regular photography as well. Here's one of my favorite shots. I didn't have a flash, this was actually a long exposure and the light from the snowcat illuminated the chairlift wheel. I love the definition and contrast between the lift and the sky.
- Thanks guys, I hoped you liked my stuff, as these past couple of months have been great for me in learning about photography!
