Well, When I ages ago had some spks that I didn't have fitted and were 2 sizes too big I got them mounted to some griffons(27.5), A few weeks ago i finally bit the bullet and bought some hot doggers after being fitted, good decision imo, but when they adjusted the bindings to fit the boots they were sooo hard to clip into, and the heel wasn't sitting on the ledge, it was above it(the guys in the shop couldn't get my boot into it without pulling the heel up themselves. A bit after they tried pulling the forward pressure out a bit (until the heel sat on the ledge)which I said I'd try for a bit and see if I was prereleasing too much, which I was, 4 times in 2 days, although I was managing to clip in much easier. So I took them back to the shop to get them fitted correctly, even though it was hard to clip in. And they said they could maybe remount them, as it was as far on the plate as the binding would go and that's why it was so hard to clip in, but that'd cost £20 but the main part of me not wanting to remount it is I'd have the holes in my skis and I'm not sure how that would affect the durability. It was so hard it would take me a good minute to clip into a ski when on a slight hill. Is my only option to get a remount? and what will the negatives be of this?
