Amplid warranty question

hi there.

has anyone dealt with any warranty issues with amplid? if so, was amplid cool about it? i was skiing some pow and my edge ripped out. no visible signs of hitting a rock or anything. i took 'em to a ski shop who said it might be a warranty issue. the closest amplid dealer is an hour away (i suppose that's good for being in the US). working on getting pics.

any info is appreciated.

ps sorry if this is a repost, couldn't find it searching.

Yes. Almost had the same issue a year ago. I skiied pow and must have somehow hit a rock because at the end of the day a piece of edge at the tip was missing. Not that bad. I made a few pictures and sent an email directly to Amplid's customerservice. They warranted my skis and sent me a new pair plus they let me keep my old ones.
Their warranty is pretty good aswell as their customer service!
A friend of mine also had some issues with his Syntaxes (they were delaminating at the tip) and got a new pair aswell.
I bet they will warranty your skis aswell. Just make some pictures, describe exactly what happend and act nice (e.g. say you love your Amplids and you are bummed the edge ripped out)
Thats at least what i said (was true aswell! I love my Amplids!)
