I've never been. Wanted to go for a few years. Almost made it there last year since we were already in illinois for scamp a few days before. Unfortunately one of my friends had to be back in philly for work. This year I'm goin though, at least plannin on it. Still more artists to drop but it always has a nice lineup and looks like a cool fest.

Best festival there is in my opinion. I've been the past two summers and both times it's been a mega blast. It get's hot though, camping is fun there, bring something to sell/trade for other things if you know what I mean.

Such a good time. Definitely a festival to go to before you die.

Word. I wish the lineup was a little better. I ate all the electro thats riding into all the fests. Also pl headlining fests is a joke. Still some good shit in there though and a fest I've wanted to hit for a while and now have a good chunk of friends that are down. The distance was one of the things that kept me away. Pretty fucking far, although I've hit roo.


It'll be nice to break up the first half by hitting scamp in illinois and then it's only like an 8 hour drive from there proly.

I live in colorado but one of my best buddies is from dallas so when I go I fly down to texas about a week prior to it get our camping stuff, food, supplies, all the jazz that goes into it and then we make the drive to the festival. But yeah it's a tad annoying with all the electronic stuff but there are still a good balance of groups for the most part, I'm bummed sound tribe, lotus, and theivery aren't going to be there, last years line up was a little more impressive, but Big G and ghostland will be well worth it, among plenty of other good groups. I feel if you live anywhere in the USA if you can fund the trip it'll be well worth it.

Yeah I'd def like to go once. Especially now that vibes or allgood is an automatic miss. Def gotta keep the train goin.

Would really, really love to go to this. Unfortunately monetary backing isn't quite there so I'm going to see Bassnectar @ Red Rocks instead (still fucking stoked). BUT, if I could go, there are so many damn good artists I would love to see. To name a few; Umph's, Soulive & Lettuce, Beats, Railroad Earth, EOTO, Mim0sa, Keller, Devil Makes Three, Rjd2, Gramatik, The Motet, The Werks, Stringdusters, Toubab, Rubblebucket, and Break Science, and on and on.

Well this sucks. Two friends I was going to scamp with were dating. Find out last night they broke up. Might do scamp with one, drive back to philly then pick up the other and drive to waka>bonnaroo


Fuck this shit is getting complicated and adding miles. Why couldn't they just stay together for a couple more weeks, let me know they broke up, or just not be dumb and be able to go to a fest or two or 3 together.

sick lineup, wish I could make it out /: unfortunately I spend all of my birthday money over the past weekend for Dave Matthews and such. lineup could use some more jam bands though. while I agree with you that electro music is starting to take over festies, I like a lot of it just because I can dance hard for hours on end.

We were camped right across from the "Free Hugs" tent right by the porto potties and water station right outside the woods on the Main Stage side. Let me know if you need any or all of the UM sets played at Summer Camp, they killed it in imo.
