Selling a shit ton of stuff.

BRAND NEW Line Mr. Pollard's Opus. Never used. Mounted at mid sole with Marker Barons which are also brand new. Total cost of this set up is over $1200. Asking $1000

BRAND NEW 2010 4FRNT TNK. Won at a comp by my friend who I then bought from. Never skied. Mounted with used jesters. Valued at around $450. Asking $300

Moment reno jibs. Good urban ski. Being ridden hard and put away wet. Got edge cracks and screws in the base. Has a core shot that has been ptexd. Mounted with used Griffons. Asking $80

2012 Technica Cochsie boots. size 28.5. comes with 2 soles (AT and DH) Sick boot. Only worn 4 times. Valued at $850. Asking $800

finally a Go Pro. HD Hero. Got it last year for christmas. Still have all of the extras it came with minus a few mounts. Will also be sent with a pole mount. Asking $175

Just a heads up, you might want to post sizes of things and you should definitely get some pictures up. Also, there isn't much of a chance that you can get someone on NS to shell out as much as you're asking for those setups, just sayin'.

Sorry about lack of sizes. The opus are 185, TNKs are 180 and jibs are 181 If you read my post I say that I caanot get pics on the site due to Internet speed and to pm me if you want any. Also, I believe my prices are fair for setups that have never been used. Just saying.

Just going to say that your prices are high. $800 for new Tecnica Cochise boots?! I can get those at my local shop for 700 new from a store shelf. I will put an offer out for the Opuses at 450, since the skis new are 650 and the mounting devalues them a lot since I cannot use that mount. Also, what size barons? That would be a good thing to include, as well as pictures.

Also, no paypal?! WIthout pics this is definitely way too sketchy, most people here if they are smart would not pay for anything without going through paypal.

You must be on crack if you would think that I am selling BRAND NEW skis for 450 with bindings. I payed over 1000 for these and do not plan to get bullied or ass raped on pricing. Shit head. Also, I am a minor with no bank account, therefore no pay pal. You think that EVERYONE uses paypal? Ne flexible and send a money order or a cashier's check. Thats a pretty easy fix. Seriously, all your ideas and opinions (although appreciated) are total bullshit. Think my deals are sketchy because I live where Internet connection is slow as molasses so I cannot post pictures or because I do not use pay pal? Don't do deals with me, simple as that. but to say that I may be trying to scam people is false and make you seem like an ass. please, do yourself a favor and pull your head out of your ass. There is a picture of the opus on my page. And if you READ MY THREAD, you would see that I would be more than willing to send pictures from my phone if people are interested. The reason why people are suggesting PayPal is because it is many things that money orders aren't. They are faster and more secure. I'm not calling you a scammer but if I tell you to send me a money order for 1000 dollars and I'll give you "my word" that I ship them out, how do you plan on getting your money back from me or me actually shipping them out? I don't trust anyone, which is why I personally use PayPal like many other users. If shit goes down, claims can be filed and everything is so much more secure. If you find local buyers, that's great but don't plan on someone living hundreds of miles away to send you money close to 1000 through the mail. Not hating on you bro. Get a parent to set up a PayPal. It is no cost to anyone and people will be more willing to buy. Just saying.

well...you could take him to court if you wanted to. file for specific performance which would mean he would have to give you whatever you had paid for/agreed upon. or file for recision in which he would be forced to refund all your money and what not. haha

just learned all about this shit this week in my business law class and i decided i'd share my new knowledge. but it'd be a huge hassle to go about it.

good price on the 4frnts. i would suggest trying to get a back account or possibly asking your parents to set up a paypal that you could use..?

Just wanted to add none of my ideas and opinions are total bullshit. $1000 for a setup brand new is a lot of money for something that isn't exactly "new," especially since you did get the skis for Christmas. Pass on the deal dude, don't try to profit off of a Christmas present you got. I would say $800 would be more reasonable for the entire setup assuming the buyer did not have to remount. If the buyer did have to remount, it should be cheaper. Also, I was making an offer for skis only, no bindings, because already mounted skis are technically "used" and a second mounting isn't exactly preferred for a "new setup." Don't get so butthurt over some points I brought up, and try to deal with someone rather than getting pissed. I didn't think I was coming across as an asshole, but feel free to get upset about some suggestions I was making, because you probably won't find someone stupid enough to drop $1000 in the mail to some teenager.

And yes you did pay over 1000 for the skis and bindings, but if someone is going to spend that kind of money they will go to a shop rather than buy through you, regardless of the condition and the type of skis.

Just saying this is NS. Everyone here has skis, we don't have a whole lot of money, we can get better deals than this, and no one here will pay 1000 dollars for a pair of lines and bindings

To say that is completely stupid in your part. Almost as dumb as you saying that mounted skis aren't "new". As far as I'm concerned, saying that is like saying that unwrapped skis aren't new. The way I see it, any ski that isn't skied is new, regardless of wether it is mounted. Sending money to a teenager isnt a matter of stupidity you fuck. I'm not sure If you're jealous or ignorant, but just because I am a minor, you seem to think that making a deal is stupid. Did you get screwed over at one point in your life or what? I made a deal with a guy on a pair of skis I sold over a month ago, I shipped the skis out before he shipped the money, I didn't get burnt. Neither did he. So please sir, go insert your dildo up your ass.

Go to eGay you POS if you want to make some money, and it's not new if you drilled into them you moron no one wants skis drilled once at retail price when most people would probably remount them with different bindings or because they have a different BSL, of which you left out mounting details in your initial description, which is also, well, dumb.

I normally wouldn't comment, but I feel that you have stepped out of line. First of all, to mount bindings a person has to drill holes into the skis themselves, which as far as I can tell physically alters a ski significantly. Also, I'm a teenager as well but that shouldn't be used as an excuse to be blatantly rude to people over the internet or to not have a bank account or to not use paypal. The reason people have told you to lower your prices is not screw you over, but just some advice that will make it possible to sell your stuff. Some of the stuff you're selling you didn't even purchase, but it was given to you so I don't see why you're getting so upset about pricing. Lastly, do you expect someone to want to talk to you after the things that you've said to other people?

Fix those and watch the offers come in. Nobody gives a shit what you paid for them. It's what they're worth. Once you mount a ski for YOUR BOOT SOLE LENGTH. Cut the price of what they're WORTH BRAND NEW, in half. Not everyone has the same BSL as you. Last years skis are 40% off BRAND NEW! Think about it.

I bought my pair this season for 650. I have marker griffons on them. they were drilled by the company too. Honestly dude. learn how to sell used things. You say it is "New" but how do we know? and even if it is, it is not in packaging. that decreases the value. When you are going to price an unpackaged item, you take the orgininal price and cut it by AT LEAST 3/8 if that. And if you are trying to make a sale, DONT BE A DICK. At first i was like, ok a guy doesnt like his price, what ever. but you went off on him and everyone else. to that I think everyone should be dropping your karma right now. Aaaaaaaaannnnndddd, dont sell unless you have paypal. I couldve said, ship me the skis ill give you my word ill ship them, but you wouldnt have shipped them. but you expect us to trust you when you have barely any karma dude?just FYI there is a cool new thing called commen sense.
