Softwear question

I searchbared and found nothing. I was looking to get softwear like final cut pro but i dont want to speand another 300$ after buying a camera. What would you recomend. Ps what are some disadvantages to pirateing softwear

well if you have a mac, i would recommend final cut pro 7 and not final cut pro x. thats just me tho. other programs like adobe premiere are pretty good as well. those software packages are well over $300 so if you torrent it, just find a "legit torrenter" i suppose. i only have a couple torrented programs but so far they work well. hope that helps

Is the softwear that gopro porvides any better than imovie? Im just looking for a starter setup that will be able to do a few cool things llike adjusting light speed and fisheye

Will imovie adjust light and unfisheye video? Im very new at this and dont know much about cameras or editing, i will be useing a gopro and an itouch to do almost all of my filming

I'm pretty sure you can't unfisheye a video. If your filming with an I touch don't worry about a video editing program cause the quality won't be worth it

if you didn't want a fisheye effect on your footage, you shouldn't have bought a gopro. as far as i know, it's quite difficult to undo the effects a wide angle lens has on footage.

I read that you could unfisheye footage but i guess not. Its not a huge deal. My only reall need is adjusting speed and light
