I am looking for a new game to play that is an online multi-player. Free to download and play. Been playing League of Legends and it has gotten incredibly boring. First person shooting games are fun. Pretty much anything that is entertaining for a while and will take up some time.

You could find Age of Empires 2: The Conquerors for free, or for really cheap. The multiplayer scene is dominated by people from South of the border, but is plenty enjoyable. No need for any other shitty games.

hehe, yesterday i died with a lvl20 380fame priest with 2% fame robe, 2%wand, 3%tome, para def ring and a shitload of stat pots used ....

i just closed my pc and went to bed, worst case of rage quit i've had so far ...

my advice for beginners is to take it slow and don't be a hero, take your time, especially for dungeons, and if you arent maxed out, stay away from event bosses ....

you just have to find a good guild and find your niche, rather that be questing, dungeons, raids, pvp etc

the game doesnt really get good till 80 anyways

yep only stuff in your vault survives, so make sure to always keep a good gear set in the vault or some valuable stuff you can trade in case you die ....

and you do earn "fame" after each death but its only worth something if you can save up 12k and get the amulet of resurrection

Welp, I was lvl 6 wizard, going about my business when I was invited to Mad God's lair (castle) or whatever, where shit got real, was one of the last to die though.

Day of Defeat is a great game, you can get it dirt cheap, and has tons of maps and people playing. It's been a while since I've played but I really enjoyed it.

if you see a player you want to "friend" you can click on his name in the bottom righthand corner and select "lock"

now any time when you enter a world or the nexus or anything and that person is in the same "realm" then he'll be the first to be listed in the bottom right corner so you can easily teleport to him/her .....
(also keep in mind, there are a bunch of different servers, euwest, eusout, usnorth, usmidwest, seasia, etc.. so your buddy would have to be on the same server as you and in the same realm)

alternatively you can join/start a guild and all other guild members/friends will appear as green dots on your screen instead of yellow ones....

you can only change classes when you die or chose to delete your character....
if you reach lvl20 with certain characters, you'll unlock new ones to pick from when you've died (in the character select screen, hover over the grey characters to see the criteria for unlocking ...

ive gotten the hang of it.. have a few champs already but its just the same thing over and over.. Not a big fan of dominion so classic is all i play and it sucks.

World of Tanks, it takes a while to adjust to it, but once you get the higher tier tanks it starts becoming a blast!

Finally got a lvl 20 wizard, then tried to go straight to a Skull Shrine boss... needless to say I got fucking PUMMELED in under 5 seconds.

I think this game is nigh impossible unless you use micro-transaction money to buy some godly equipment... which sucks.

actually you can't buy actual gear with the money...

you can only buy different colors/outfits for your character, as well as pets and other useless additions....

you just need to get to lvl20, then carefully farm the godlands, collect stat potions (such as defense, attack, wisdom, speed, etc.) then max out the stats on your character, with maxed out stats you can really start to play the game properly, earning best gear, defeating oryx etc. but even then you still need to be careful :)

i was playing yesterday and the world started to shake and then we were all teleported to some crazy place where we all died... why did that happen?

I'm guessing that's the "final boss" of the game. You can teleport to the Nexus before it takes you there though.
