Any video game into a movie?

If you could have any video game be made into a movie what would it be? Do you think it would be successful, or do you just want to see you favorite game as a movie?

I would personally like to see splinter cell be made into a movie. It was in the making for a while I think, but never went through. I think if it had a plot different from any of the specific games it could be a pretty good movie, and plus George Clooney looks remarkably like Sam Fisher.

fuck i'd be down for half life. Ravenholm gives me nightmares as it is, imagine it with someone like Guillermo del Toro directing it.

I think splinter cell would have potential if there as enough character development. I've read a few tom clancy novels and they had pretty compelling characters in them (Without remorse is a good light read for anyone who's into historical military fiction. It's not my cup of tea usually, but i like it)

Speaking of games and movies, i just got Batman Arkham City. Best video game made after a movie/comic series since goldeneye

I haven't really played the games, but would Metal Gear make for a good one?  My friends told me about the super long cut scenes that they absolutely loved.

For something that I have played; I agree that the Half Life series would be a great movie.
