Using an airbag tommorow-what should I try?

I'm hitting an airbag tommorow and a pass for it gives you 3 runs for 15$. I know no flips but I can cork 7 and backflip on tramps super easy. I'm also considering lincolns or rodeos. Which trick has the least chance of getting seriously injured on snow? I want to stick to 1 trick to try so I can get the feel for it and stomp it first try on snow.

mt creek airbag? try cork 7s.thats what im gonna go for if i decide to hit it. and pay the extra $10 for unlimited. well worth it.

lol 15 bucks for 3 hits, but you should definitely try cork 7, its the trick with the biggest consequences when you fail.rodeo and all those other flip can be tried on small jumps with no injuries.

,don't use the air bag...just try it..then if u land it ur set...if u land it on an airbag then ur just gonna say "why wasn't that on snow?!?!?"

I agree but I can see how they'd be really good for getting upside down your first time. I wish I had an airbag the first time i wanted to try a flip.

Can you still get hurt on those things if you fuck up pretty bad? Like if you land on your head is it gonna fuck you up still lol?

Not really, although you'll get a sore neck. I once saw this guy though who overshot an airbag by a little and had to go to the hospital...

every time i've skied an airbag it was free (if you bought a skipass)

that being said, if you haven't done backflips yet, try those, they're scary first time but easy once you've popped the cherry they become second nature. so an airbag is excellent to get over that first fear ....

also lincolns or misty 5s are pretty easy and safe on snow, so if you're looking for a "safe" flip these are pretty good options imho.... you can see the landing during the entire rotation and even if you don't get the entire rotation around, it's better under/over rotate on a lincoln/misty than on a front/backflip ....

Go for big spins or backflips. Then right after your three jumps take what you learned to the park on snow

no need to try spins on it.. u can easily learn new spins on jumps so if u only got 3 hits to do i would not waste spins for them. just try the flips you want to learn.

Just throw anything around, any triple is cool :) But 15$ for 3 jumps is ridiculous, the bag that's touring around eastern ontario right now is charging 11.50$ for the entire day.

Heres what I came up with


I know it's hard to see but it was a rodeo 5.

the other two times I lincolned but I ended up almost sideways when I landed. Any tips to prevent this for when I take it to snow?

first time i did lincolns, i really had to mind "popping" of the lip before tucking into the rotation it makes a huge difference if you pop good and hard, first time i did em on snow i made sure i knew the feel of the jump and knew how to properly pop off it, then visualised how i was going to pop, tuck, spot, extend, then i just did it and it was clean like hell :)

alright im going to give it one or two more tries tommorow in the airbag and then bring it on snow. Right now at okemo theres a 25 footer and a 35 footer. What will be better to learn on?

i'd say the one with a good kick to it, those work best for lincolns imho ....

If you can't do any other flip don't go cork sev do something like a backflip or rodeo that you might have a decent chance of landing on snow.

don't hope, just do it. be confident in yourself and throw it down. you brought it around pretty well so the consequences are fairly low.

If you can do it on tramp then cork 7. Way higher risk than backflips but pretty easy if you know what you're doing. Backflips you can learn off pretty much any random thing, but cork 7s you need a decent size jump to try them, so I'd do them on the airbag first.
