the snow is actually not quite as good as they had hoped. the snowback in the kootenays is very unstable and variable. hopefully they get a few good storms and the pillows will stay long enough. the course is not being hit 3 weeks in advance of the contest either. I cant wait for this shit, its gona be crazy. i hope the main booter is pretty large

oh i know. I know where this is too haha. it would take a multi day adventure to get there though, unless someone wants to spot me a couple G to rent a heli to fly me in and out.

it's not that far in. you could do it in a day skinning, in and out. it'd be a big, long day, but it's doable.

if you can get ahold of a sled it'd be an easy 16km up a logging road to the base of the run.

Is there any way that RedBull can get some pro skiers on this for a comp? Why let a course like this go to only snowboarders? share the love!

It would be perfect like 3 weeks after the snowboarders have their comp to get a group of skiers on it.
