Im pretty sure I got scammed.. I sent the guy 200 for alpha 2s and bindings. Im inexperienced.. So he told me to gift it, not knowing any better, I did. He said he shipped the skis buts hasnt responded since..

Please enlighten me as to where you see him say this is a callout thread ??? He states that he is inexperienced and is just asking since he has no prior transactions. I agree this is not how to make a callout thread, but it is in fact NOT one..... And to the OP, we need more info to help like where he is shipping from and post the message communication in the thread here so we can check him out for you. Hope you didn't get scammed but give it a few, not everyone is on here everyday.

If he says he's shipping the skis from Hawaii, they're not going to get there in 2 days. Give it a week or so, and if they still haven't arrived then you should just shoot him a pm. I really wouldn't even do anything until two weeks. Chances are they're on a plane headed your way as we speak

ok lets look at what a typical callout thread says:
bought something, hasn't received it
haven't gotten response from seller
item was not as described
etc
now, what does the op say here? that he bought some skis, hasn't received them, seller has not responded
so yes, this is a callout thread, just a very very poor one with little to no information. don't try and act like you know everything, you haven't even been a member for a year

Yeah. Gift's avoid the 3% paypal fees, but it's way better to just pay the extra $4 or whatever it is so that you can file a claim. Can't file a claim on a gift...

i doubt anyone has any info on this douche bag. i made a thread for some things i'm looking for, and jibjab67 was trying to sell me his stuff the very same day that he signed up for ns, dec 24, 2011. i asked for contact info, and the only thing he told me was that he was shipping from hawaii; he said that he didn't have a cell phone or anything. i then asked if he would ship first because i have good feedback and he just signed up that day, but he was a dickhead about it and said that was retarded, so i didn't buy anything off him. good luck, i hope you get your money back.
