am i siding with the dead towel heads in this video? people need to start realizing i posted this video to show the lack of respect your fucking military has , grow the fuck up and make a good point in this thread or gfto

"On 15 October 2006 it put the total number of reported civilian dead at 41,744 to 46,668 in iraq" - thats from BBC news in 2006, we've killed probably 20 times more civilians than they have to us by now and yet you still think it's okay to piss on their dead bodies?

ill take your word for it, but see this is how our image of the middle east has always been, it's typical of THEM to do this because they're all on that fuck america shit, we go in that country to make "peace" and take osama, the latter part of that is don't so to see this happening really doesn't shed good light on the fact we're there for that reason

On another note, please don't speak ill of a military and country that takes care of more than half of the world, even when we are the ones who need help sometimes. People can say whatever they want about Americans, soldiers, and videos like these but who else is really doing anything besides us. Not saying that this pissing incident is okay, but you should just politely shut the fuck up because when's the last time you or your country did anything?

My favorite part of all this is that the poster of the video has soo much power and claims them to be civilians. Every Taliban member or radical islamic dresses in civilian clothes when they fight or when they just live their lives. Assuming someone in the middle east is a civilian based on clothing is just out right stupidity.

its just unfortunate that someone taped this, and then put it out there for the public to see.

I have no issue whatsoever with what they did, hell i applaud it, but it makes the US look like barbarians...which is what war turns everyone into...and we are supposed to be morally superior, even in war.


pissing on a dead body, to me, is the same as pissing on a rock. both are lifeless, and dont mind if the get wet( i realize that the vast majority of people do not share this view).


Its the god damned enemy who was just trying to kill you and your buddies. have you ever been in a fight? ever had a girlfriend or friend sucker punched? how did you feel?

I personally lose control in those situations and have to be dragged off the person. I cant even imagine the hate, and anger i would have towards someone who was trying to kill me and my closest friends.

Right now.. at this moment Most ISAF soldiers, be them American, French, German, Canadian, etc.. fucking HATES those troops in that video. None of the aforementioned points in this thread has hit the mark yet. The REASON this is so deplorable is because it has just put a burning red target on the back of every ISAF troop for months, maybe years to come. It is the Abu Ghraib effect. This will be shown everywhere, acrss Afghanistan to most people and they will sethe with anger because of it. This one simple act has just set back months, if not years of goodwill effort on the part of the troops trying to win the confidence of a populace. If you guys think us Canadians are generalizing all Americans based on this, imagine how Afghans are reacting. Those Marines are goddamn thoughtless.

America gives no more foreign aid than the UK; in fact many other western countries would be on par with the US. America likes to think they are this great helping hand in the world, but in reality, with all the terrorism and fear they export, on balance they're more of a negative force than good. That's just my opinion though.

As for war...i think you've been watching too many Pearl Harbour-esque films.

osama was based out of Afghanistan, and was being helped by the govt. we absolutely needed to go over there, even flaming liberals agree.

Sadaam was one of the worst, most cruel leaders of the modern era. he used chemical weapons on his own people, and violently took out anyone hhis paranoid mind thought was a threat. i personally think it was a good thing to take his ass out. we just shoulda planned the whole rebuilding the country thing better.

I feel like they are killing them, and even if this war is right or wrong, in life and death situations I would be doing crazy things. The are their enemies and if this helps them get confidence and courage to take on more of their "enemies" then I see no problem. War is hell anyway
