I know they have used rc helicopters before, and tried stuff with booms, but this could actually be very useful, It records in HD, and probably a bit more controllable, since it sends video data to a smartphone so you can see what you are filming.
i thought i saw something like that shooting in haldors new real snow? maybe it was just an RC chopper. but it seems like for both urban and backcountry these choppers are providing real unique angles that couldnt be achieved otherwise or even with a real chopper
just... no. it's so much cooler to watch someone take a gnarly powder line than do a double off of a jump. and don't even get me started on watching pillow skiing...
