I really don't understand the constant disrespect pow skiers show towards urban and park skiers. Plenty of us park skiers ski pow just like you guys and wouldn't even touch the park on a fluffy pow day. We're sorry that Freeskier mag doesn't pick REAL SKIERS ON REAL SNOW ON REAL MOUNTAINS, but park skiing should be on an equal level with pow skiing, even if you don't like it and in your opinion it's not as, "real," as pow.
He's just like what... 20?
Give him some time, he'll be there one day.
And after watching that extra footy I'd say that day will come rather soon. Line on that face which ended in this massive cliff was amazing.
Sean pettit is definitly THE MAN in Backcountry, Hands Up! Especially comparing to Henrik !!!! Not so much in the USA but in Europe a skier's true skill is measured up on the mountain , the glacier , the backcountry. Park skiing includes skill but is more about acrobatics.
Well in that case you need to take some time out and actually watch him ski. Watch the line at 3.25 in the athlete extra edit posted in this very thread. You think skiing that hanging snowfield above all that exposure in under ten turns and then sending an 80+footer exit is mini golf shit or not high consequence? Ridiculous claim.
