Chairlift Losses

I have lost many things on chairlifts. From poles, to iPods, I have even lost a ski. Either I have ba luck, or its just in my clumsy nature. Today I was at blackcomb going up 7th Heaven. I just brought this Gopro and a pole mount. I went to change the song on my iPod when my $450 setup fell to its death. I tried yelling out to people below, trying to get them to pick it up and return it to the lifties but it never did. I checked everywhere, the info centre, the lost and found, but i haven't seen any trace of it

i always get scared of people dropping my vape when were passing it on the chair and its almost happened once but i saved it

two of my friends. it was a 4 person lift and somehow, one of my friends ended up sitting on my other friends lap on the chair so they both fell off. almost dragged me and my brother with them. it was lulz.

lost my season pass and car keys. getting home from the mountain that day was not easy. then a week later i snapped my spare key in the ignition in the parking lot of the mountain haha

EArly season this year I dropped my pole off of a lift that went over a run that was closed and mostly mud. Walked down under the lift until the people above me spotted a pole in the mud.

i dropped a 20 doller bill when i took my phone out on the lift... never saw the 20 dollars again and also have almost dropped my phone several times.. many close calls

Forgot my helmet wasn't buckled, turned around to watch someone ski something, helmet fell off.

Fortunately it was like 50ft from the end of the lift so I just ran down and got it... felt like a total gaper though.

My gopro has been resurrected! Was found buried in the snow. Some kid found it and the mother had never seen it before. So she told him to return it because she thought he stole it. Poor kid

haha nearly did that today. marker squires never click in right whilst in fresh snow. I was lightely banging them together and my right one nearly fell off. It was hanging my the toepiece of my boot. My leg was really stiff after that lift ride

I get really paranoid about dropping things from the chair so I'm always super careful . Never lost anything as of yet.

Nothing so far. But last week when I went to change the song on my iPhone I realized it was hanging below the chair attached only by my head phone cable. It was one of those oh shit moments. And one of my friends dropped a quarter:(

How does that even happen? Nevermind I don't even want to know.

I hope I never lose something off a chairlift though, I've almost dropped my phone, when I just slightly pull it out of my pocket to check the time, it almost fell once but that's the closest I've been. My friend took his glove off and he tucked it under his arm to hold it, but somehow it ended up falling, and I just flew down the trail and picked it up for him. I've been lucky so far. *knock on wood*.

my friend threw my poles off of the lift. I had sanded, removed the handles, custom painted them, and superglued bike grips on them. they were so nice, I loved them. and it was immensely better then paying 40$ for line poles and he fucking threw them off the lift. I never found them, because it was snowing and they got covered.

needless to say I had my revenge. With snowboarder's I discovered that when they unstrap one foot, if you grab the little handle thing at the back of the binding and pull really hard you can flip them over.

i've never lost anything but last season i saw this dood who was wasted fall off the lift right above a cliff, land cartoon style in the snow above it and proceed to roll off the cliff and slide to the cat trail right underneath. sat up and started strapping in immediately like he didn't just fall 30 feet and roll off a 10 foot cliff

Dropped a ton of shit on the lift, never once lost anything. Michigan hills are so small you can see the entire lift from the top

their setup is probably better then mine, our setup is insanely sketchy everything is down which would be find if you could actually see the feature before you were in the air, and we call tiny 4 ft tables XL

I dropped a 2L bottle of red drank. It hit the snow and took off down the mountain like a rocket. made it about a thousand yards then smashed into a tree blowing up like a god damn grenade. Looked like the most gnarly accident scene ever, red stained snow all over the place.
