Ok so I've had nothing to do at work but think lately and I've come up with an idea. I was looking at carbon poles and wondering why they were so expensive. See I come from a hockey background where wooden sticks are the replacement for more expensive carbon ones. Upon thinking of this I had the thought of why someone doesn't make a ski pole in the same way as a wooden hockey stick as the result would be strong, light and CHEAP.
FYI I do realize wooden pools exsist, but to my knowledge no ski pole is built like a hockey stick which is a solid wood construction with some sort of fiberglass reinforcement
OK rant over, I just had to air this out.
