TWIN TIPS

Thinking about getting some new twin tips, what should i get? I need something durable (no busted tips or de-laming) and something that is able to ski the whole mountain alright. Any suggestions?

I'm gonna give you a list here of my favorite skis that I believe to be good at jumping and also all around.

Dynastar Candide/Concept, I plan to get concepts
Volkl V
Volant Machete
Rossignol Pow Air
Salomon 1080, I don't like them but lots of people do.

I've heard the K2 Enemies have a problem with delaminating. I don't know if it's been fixed for this year.

Yeah i think it has been fixed mine form 2000-2001 never delaminated

the concepts are durable, same with the 1080, cant go wrong wiht either one

Candides are really good. I only busted them once last year, and any ski will break when you over shoot the landing on a 60 foot table top... lol but yea, I got some enemeys for the two weekends I had to wait to get more candides, and I trashed them. so I wouldn't go for them. if durability is what you want...
I heard the Vs are good and strong...
Ilikethe way the candides ride best though
so good for switch

I like the Salomon 1080, they're a pretty good all around ski, so is the Rossigonl Pow'Air.

Like yellowsnow said, Lines have a tendency to delam. I'd recommend Concepts, Candides, Teneighties, or the new Mad Trix.

I dont think Lines are that bad at all. I had the 1260s for 1 and a half years now and they are still fine and I wouldnt say im easy on them. Plus, they have the most twin so you can do switch stuff in deep snow.

dude, don't even try to say that lines don't delaminate. i have the darksides. i love the ski but they delam easy. i didn't even ride that hard last season and they still did.

The 1080's will probably give you the best quality, and the best ski. I think that would be the best buy. The concepts are also a great ski. Line and K2 skis seem to have problems staying together. good luck.

No, they wont. They are always saying you have to buy this ski, it is the best instead of saying, they worked well for me , try them .

Personally I think the 1080's are great skis. I took those skis all over and beat them down for so long and I have never had a prob. The Line skis are great skis also. Never had a delam prob with em'.
