winter formal is really soon and i wasnt gonna go, but a lot of my friends are and they want me to come.
Problem: no one to bring.
My one really good friend doesnt have anyone to go with either, so a lot of people are telling me to bring her. Sounds like a great idea?
Problem: She is a solid 7
I was like hell no, but then she told someone she wants to go and she wants me to bring her, on top of that a lot of people are going to her house for pics first and she wont have a date... at her own house. I feel like a complete dick not bringing her, but again shes a solid 7. I dont want her to think i like her as more than a friend because i dont.
So NS, should i not go and feel like a huge doucher, or take one for the team and bring my solid 7 friend?
*dont even bother asking for pics, ur not getting them

This. I don't know how it works where you are, but here it's usually take a girl, go somewhere for pics, do some pre-drinks, and then an occasional dance throughout the night but for the most part everyone just grinds up on everyone, so nbd. Plus you may get brownie-points with other girls.

I'm going with my friend to Formal even though she's not hot...it's just as friends and it'll be fun, plus it's not like everyone's gonna judge you on it, you're just going to Formal as friends.

dude i have had the exact same problem for the summer formal over here, but my girl was like an easy 9 but i realy wasnt into her especially cos she had just broken up with a realy good buddw of mine. anyway, this is what i did: said no to the formal so she ended  up not going at all. after that she didnt talk to me much despîte the fact she was a realy good friend but we werent at the same school anymore, so that was that. 6 months later, so 6 weeks ago, i saw her up on the hill, and we got to talking again. Now she was still fine as hell so i started hitting and we started hooking up. once we got to talking she told me she actually had a huge crush on me back then and thats why she didnt talk to me to much after i turned her down. Long story short she's staying over at my place saturday. So yeah dude if she's pushing for u to go with her its probably cos she's kinda got a crush cos otherwise she would just go to another friend. she's def gonna be pissed if u say no and if u say yes she's gonna expect smt from it. so ya, ur call

Just go. I'm in a similar situation for formal this year it's Sadie Hawkins. My friend and I got asked by solid 7s and to not be shallow fags, we're going as friends. But somehow we have to pay for both tickets n shit even though it's Sadie Hawkins and we're going as friends...wut?

Who gives a fuck if shes a 7? Your not going to see anyone again after highschool, and along with that, if all you are caring about is looks in a girl, youll be fucked later on.

thanks everyone... i definitely came off as a complete asshole when i wrote this but yeah im gonna ask her tomorrow just to go as friends which is what i was probably gonna do anyway... i just felt like i needed some extra opinions

My advice is to go single. Stand around look cool, dance with some good looking unattached girls, socialize and lay ground work for future 10s.  Then after the dance go back to the 7's house and slam that nice and annon style, then, if you can, pee in her butt.
