LIke when you trade in your skis to use another pair? That usually happens up the mountain, a shop/brand sets up at the mountain. (hopefully this is what you are wondering about)

Nah, its more like a Giant public organized garage sale, in which anyone can attemp to sell there old/used ski gear.

Maybe just a U.S. thing?

Yea must be a usa thing, sorry man. Most people sell their skis on trademe.

And Christchurch has one at addington raceway. Cheap as chips but is in late may early june.
