Afterbangs??

how good are afterbangs on the rest of the mountain? i ski mostly park but when my family and i go to colorado how will they hold up??

not good. Afterbangs are good for rails and thats about it. I own them and I can tell you that its not like you will spontaneously combust if you ski powder with them, but they wont be that fun.

haven't got the chance to ski powder with them, but for groomers there lots of fun to mess around with

I find them good with all mountain and park. I havent skies powder in them yet. I dot think they will be that good in powder because they are ment for park but it wont be that bad

i love my afterbangs for rails, but they can't do powder. for the east coast there a solid choice.

your gonna be out in colorado for a little while, why not just bring your boots and demo so big ol' pow skis for a few days bub?

because you cant just "demo" some skis wherever you go. most likely if he really wanted to ride some good pow he would just rent some.

If you own afterbang, you should maybe buy a second pair more all round oriented since afterbangs is exclusively park skiing and therefor limited outside the park

When are you coming to Colorado? Unless you're going someplace like Wolf Creek you don't really have to worry about powder, we don't have any.

Holy posts! But theyll break if you beat them up and as far as powder goes, Depending on how deep it is it may be tough. I skied pow in CO last spring on my anthems (93mm vs afterbangs 88?) And I wouldve ideally liked wider!
