why don't you approach said individual and ask? I randomly sat next to a skier-looking dude today on the plane, turns out he's pro and went to my high school. take a chance, sometimes you never know what might happen.
I just happened to seem him walking out of the cafe here and by time i realized it was jiberish he was gone. I'm usually the type to go and ask or start a conversation.
As someone who knows him well, I can confirm that it was indeed marsland you saw. Shoot him a PM and maybe he will invite you back to his secret "summer" setup he has in the woods.
church across from beasley, giant stair set next to bohler, tons of stuff behind sloan, two long ass down rails infront of sloan, tons of stuff in the apts across from valley road play fields, rail in the parking lot next to the main intersection on main street, giant arch at the bottom of sloan is prime for QP transfer gap etc. not to mention the smaller "everyman" rails on campus proper.
Pullman is made up of like 4 giant hills, there are stairs, rails, and features everywhere.
A few years ago when it dumped the entire winter on pullman, we went out to some farmers field and built a pretty darn large cornice step down thing. there are possibilities everywhere.
but he's eating at the dining hall with me right now and that's all the way across campus. I don't want to go over there. shit homeboy is on his own now.
I feel bad for marsland since it was my own thread that started all this...so I'll just come out and say that it almost certainly wasn't marsland. Its all a big inside joke
THREADJACK: How many people on here are at WSU? I got a good scholarship there and am really considering going next season. Are there a lot of people to carpool to the hill with?
Im an alum, and yeah i was always able to get a ride whenever i needed one. I was also in a frat so that helped , but i went up a lot with people from classes. Its an eastside school with a west side population, so there are a ton of kids who ski or ride.
you def can get 40 days a year in a Shweitzer(best mountain by far in the area), but you gotta be motivated to do so. its a 3 hour drive if the roads are perfect, and can get up to 7 hours if you are going on a pow day. But whenever i was fiending to go up, i was always able to find a ride.
go somewhere for the vibe of the school not for the peripherals. WSU is a classic college experience and i am so happy i went there. any other q's about the school PM me and id be happy to answer.
