only reason they got that TD is cause the refs are stupid and gave the steelers an incomplete pass call that was actually a backward pass and therefore a live ball that was recovered by the broncos. could be looking at a 27-6 game right now rather than 20-13. good ol shitty calls changing the game drastically.

Calls go both way. I've seen some shitty calls work in favor of the broncos like this pass interface shit.

yea, calls go both ways, but a turnover/possession error is way worse than some yards.... and there was pass interference

i understand that the whistle was blown and all, but as a neutral observer, i saw the head ref letting the play develop while the side judge jumped in and called incomplete pass (and he shouldve had the best view somehow) prematurely and thus directly influencing the game.

they need to rework some aspects of blwing the whistle and corresponding challenges.

not bad so far because the steelers got a lame PI right now.



and on a side note, harrison is a total fuckup.

polamalu freelanced the steelers out of the playoffs. he made like one or two good plays i remember off the top of my head and blew it bigtime on more than 3 occassions.

steelers overall didnt play good, but their defensive scheming was questionable. on the gamewinning play, they had 8 man in the box and polamalu also close to the LOS. the broncos got NOTHING all day in the run game, why would you stack it like that?

the only reason i can think of to why they did that is because, hampton and kiesel were injured, their rookie backups suck so they tried another way to blitz which backfired.


but a shit ton of their big gaining plays were to number 88 (sorry i dont know his name im not a broncos fan) but he was against Ike Taylor all day long and he smoked him, dumb as hell to line him up mono y mono in ot.

when you play a stagnant offense like the broncos, who wont be killing you with anything other than deep bombs and runs, why would you bite on a stutter step like taylor did on that first long pass?

that was 3rd down, if they somehow dont make that play, its 0-6 and the steelers get the ball. instead, polamalu jumps the short route and taylor bites on the double move. let tebow throw the 15 yd sideline out. everyone on the steelers should be fine with that. but that play gave the crowd and the broncos so much momentum, its not even funny.

thats very true. but if, lets say "my" chargers had lost the same game instead of the steelers yesterday, i would get mad shit for using that as an excuse. its a legit excuse imo, dont get me wrong, but people normally dont let some other team fans use it.

injuries sort of fuck a lot of shit up. its just unlucky, but part of the game. a lot of teams got lucky playing injured opponents and others didnt.

this. polamalu had an uncharacteristically bad game, never seemed to be in the right place at the right time like you expect him to be 99% of the time

and that final play was more of a great play call by denver than a blown play by pitts...almost every first down play they had was a draw/run play of some kind, then they play action fake and BAM pitts bites so damn hard..couldnt have called a better play
